SHIPPING POLICY
The orders placed to our e-shop (cv-distiller.com) are being shipped & delivered within 2-3 working days and are delivered by ELTA Courier.
*During special periods (Christmas, Easter etc), the delivery may take a few working days more.
Shipping costs vary according to the weight and the destination of your order. A cost simulator is available in your crate
Our team takes special care over the packaging of your precious purchases. All of our bottles are secured.
Is there anything else I should be mindful of?
You must be of legal drinking age. In addition, a person of legal drinking age must sign for the order. As deliveries usually happen during business hours, we suggest shipping to a work address if possible.
Since we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates, we do not accept liability for costs associated with shipping to temporary locations (hotels, holiday homes, etc.) in case of failed deliveries.
What happens if my order returns?
If the provided delivery address is incorrect, if you refuse delivery, or if delivery is not successful after the final delivery attempt, we reserve the right to withhold the costs of the shipment’s return from the refund. We often resolve issues in our Members’ favor even when the courier is not at fault, though we determine this on a case-by-case basis.
In case of a failed delivery attempt, the courier will leave a door tag. Make necessary arrangements with the courier service to ensure delivery or pickup at the nearest courier depot before the shipment is returned.
Our customer care is quick to assist if something goes wrong due to courier-related issues. We always resolve these in your favor—either by resending or fully refunding, depending on the circumstances. In some instances, we might require your help with resolving the issue.
RETURNS & CANCELLATION
RETURNS POLICY
We want you to be 100% happy with your order and it is our aim to ensure that all products supplied to all customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order if you have not received an email from us confirming that your order has been processed. (other than for perishable or personalised products or those products that have been specified as non-returnable).
We will only reimburse the cost of returning items where they were delivered in error or the items were damaged or defective.
Any products must be returned to us in good condition and in the original packaging. All refunds will be paid within 10 days of receiving the returned product(s).
Please note that not all of the items for sale at cv-distiller.com are new and in some cases will have been purchased at auction. Product images on the website are intended for illustrative purposes only and may not be exact representations of the item in stock, particularly for antique and/or discontinued products, which may not be in 100% perfect condition. Please also be aware that batch numbers, vintages and bottling dates may be subject to change. If this happens, we will do our best to inform you before the item is shipped.
If an item is delivered in a faulty or damaged condition, you have a 10-day right to reject which begins from the date of ordering. Please refer to the Damaged and Wrong Goods section for further information on what to do in this instance.
RETURNING ITEMS
You are responsible for the cost of returning products to us unless the items being returned were delivered in error or the items were damaged or defective. You are also responsible for insuring all returns as we might claim against you should damages be sustained.

For all returns, please follow the following instructions to ensure that products are received in perfect condition and your returns can be processed quickly:
- Return a copy of your invoice to us with the items that you are returning highlighted. Please note the quantity and reason(s) for return against each item on your invoice. Alternatively, you can download, print and complete our returns form and include it in your parcel*
- Please ensure to pack and seal your return securely in the original packaging to prevent possible damage while in transit and include the completed invoice or returns form
- Fix your return shipping label to the packaging. Make sure no other address labels are shown.
* in order to view PDF documents, you need to have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on your computer.
CANCELLATIONS
All non-business customers (that is, those customers who are not purchasing either wholly or in part for business use) have a right to cancel a contract (‘Contract’) in which they purchase merchandise (‘Products’) from us or withdraw their offer to purchase the Product(s) as applicable, at any time up to 10 days from the date of your order being placed (‘The Cancellation Period’) unless the order includes products that have been personalised or that we have specified the products as being non-returnable.
To cancel your order, you must inform us in writing before the expiry of the cancellation period. If you have already taken delivery of the order, you should return the product(s) to us. Unless the items being returned were delivered in error or the items were damaged or defective, you will be liable for the full cost of returning the product(s) and will be responsible for any damage to the product(s) until we acknowledge receipt of the products. As such, you should ensure that the product(s) are adequately insured. You have a legal responsibility to keep the product(s) in your possession and to take reasonable care of the products until you return them to us. Should the product(s) show signs of damage or tampering, we may have a right against you for compensation. We retain the right to arrange for collection of the product(s) at your cost in the event that you have not returned the product(s) within 10 days of your notice of cancellation.
CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER
You are able to amend your order if you have not received an email from us confirming that your order has been processed.
