CV Distiller is a bar, located in the centre of Athens, that cherishes Arts, particularly music and a place where people unite. Hand-in-hand with that goes its love for excellent spirits. Among the rare spirits that will draw your attention at CV Distiller, whisky is the king and it is worshiped.

The jazz and funk notes dispersed in the right proportion and intensity accompany to perfection the moment when the drink of your choice initiates you to the wonderful process of recognizing and appraising the aromatic and flavor elements of a quality spirit.

THE STORY OF THE BAR

The founders, including architect Stefanos Psylakis and civil engineer Kostas Karagiannis, were passionate whiskey collectors and connoisseurs. They initially conceived the idea of creating a space where friends could gather to enjoy whiskey and good company

Pre-2010

CV Distiller was established in the Gazi area of Athens, driven by the founders’ personal love for whiskey and the desire to share their collection with a wider audience

Early 2010

The bar relocated to its current location near the Hilton Hotel in Ilissia, Athens. This move solidified its place as one of the leading whiskey bars in the city

2010 - Relocation to Ilissia

Over time, CV Distiller built a reputation for having one of the largest whiskey collections in Greece, featuring over 600 labels, many of which are rare and exclusive to the bar. The founders continued to cultivate a high-end, artistic environment, often featuring jazz and funk music

Ongoing Development

CV Distiller is now widely regarded as one of the best whiskey bars in Athens, providing a classic, atmospheric setting with a loyal customer base, and continues to innovate with its unique whiskey-tasting experiences and speakeasy vibe
