GlenAllachie 12 Year Old is an exceptional single malt Scotch whisky that embodies the essence of the Speyside region's rich and fruity style. This expression is a testament to the distillery's dedication to quality and craftsmanship, having been carefully aged for a minimum of 12 years in a combination of American oak, Pedro Ximenez, and Oloroso sherry casks.
Glenallachie distillery is located in Aberlour, Speyside. It was founded in 1967 by Mackinlays.
In 1985 InverGordon distillers would become the new owners but during their time that lasted four years, the distillery was mothballed.
In 1989 Campbell distillers acquired the distillery and for the years to come almost all of its production would be used in blends.
In 2017 the Glenallachie Distillers Company operated by Billy Walker, Graham Stevenson and Trisha Savage bought the distillery from Chivas Brothers.
Nowadays under the new owners, most of its approximately 4,2 million liters per year capacity is used in single malt bottlings.
