GlenAllachie 18 Year Old is an exceptional single malt Scotch whisky that embodies the culmination of the distillery's dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Aged for a minimum of 18 years, this expression represents the epitome of maturity and complexity.
Glenallachie distillery is located in Aberlour, Speyside. It was founded in 1967 by Mackinlays.
In 1985 InverGordon distillers would become the new owners but during their time that lasted four years, the distillery was mothballed.
In 1989 Campbell distillers acquired the distillery and for the years to come almost all of its production would be used in blends.
In 2017 the Glenallachie Distillers Company operated by Billy Walker, Graham Stevenson and Trisha Savage bought the distillery from Chivas Brothers.
Nowadays under the new owners, most of its approximately 4,2 million liters per year capacity is used in single malt bottlings.
